PLASTIC COVERED COPPER TUBE TO IS EN 1057-R220 AND EN 13349
We offer a range of straight, uncoated copper tube for above ground services and, when protection is required against aggressive environments, our plastic coated tube offers the ideal solution.
Its ease of manipulation and relatively light weight, combined with its ability to withstand high internal pressure, make it the ideal product for most hot and cold water, central heating and gas services installations.
DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND USE
All systems should be designed, installed and used in accordance with appropriate specifications or codes of practice (e.g. BS 6700) and/or Yorkshire Copper Tube technical recommendations.
STANDARD FEATURES
- Cu-DHP grade copper
- Straight lengths are NSAI Standard Mark approved
- Straight lengths 14.7 – 53.6mm (½” – 2″) supplied in R250 (half-hard) condition in 5.5m lengths, suitable for cold bending and forming
- Plastic coated tube supplied in R220 (soft) condition 10 – 14.7mm (½”) in 25 and 50m coils, and 21mm (¾”) in 25m coils, suitable for hand manipulation
